David's Diary

No diary entries since July 27th! Surely my holiday cannot have been that long!! Unfortunately not. Ten days in Scotland, meandering back through Leyland in the Midlands and then Lampeter in mid-Wales, and then "Nosey Nosey Grindstone". The 21st Century Guide to KC has finally been stomped, suckered and flattened. And a fine beast it is too, I am sure.

The Vicar's two instrumental edits of "In the Wake of Poseidon" and "Islands" will, no doubt, be the subject of heated debate.

While I have been away, the results of our labours in the studio have been circulating amongst a few unsuspecting worthies, and the consensus would seem to be that the Vicar's string arrangements are "sublime", while the songs themselves are at times reminiscent of "the sound of a twenty two year old contemplating his navel". Another sure fire hit, then.

Perhaps it should be replaced by the "sound of a forty three year old contemplating the political landscape" - My younger brother and I have set ourselves the task of writing an open letter encapsulating our frustrated thoughts on the current process. One step better than moaning over a glass of port. Pleasant though that might be.
